وأوضح آل الشيخ أن الهيئة خصصت ميزانية ضخمة لتنظيم هذه الفعاليات التي ستسهم في تنشيط الحركة السياحية الداخلية واستقطاب الزوار من خارج المملكة، متوقعاً أن يصل عدد الزوار خلال فبراير إلى أكثر من مليوني زائر.
وتأتي هذه الفعاليات ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030 الرامية إلى تنويع مصادر الدخل وتعزيز قطاع الترفيه والسياحة كأحد أهم القطاعات الواعدة في المملكة.
ومن المقرر أن تبدأ الفعاليات في 22 فبراير بإطلاق مهرجان “شتاء طنطورة” في العلا، والذي سيستمر لمدة شهرين متتاليين، ليشكل أحد أبرز المهرجانات السياحية في المملكة.

In the realm of knowledge and wisdom, Sheikh Saleh lived his life striving to spread knowledge and call people to Allah. He was a personality that combined vast knowledge with noble character, leaving a clear mark on the hearts of those who knew him and studied under him.

Sheikh Saleh was born in a small village in Dakahlia Governorate in 1940, and grew up in a religious environment. He memorized the Holy Quran at a young age, then joined the Tanta Religious Institute and graduated from it in 1962. He then worked as an imam and preacher in several mosques before moving on to teaching in Al-Azhar institutes.

The Sheikh dedicated his life to knowledge and preaching, authoring numerous books on interpretation, hadith, and jurisprudence. He participated in dozens of scientific seminars and conferences inside and outside Egypt. He also played a prominent role in establishing many charitable associations and Islamic centers.

The Sheikh was distinguished by his unique approach to preaching, based on moderation and avoiding extremism and rigidity. He focused on instilling moderate Islamic values in people’s hearts and rejecting violence and extremism in all its forms.

At the end of his rich life, Sheikh Saleh left behind a great scientific and preaching legacy. He passed away in 2010, but his memory remains alive in the hearts of his loved ones and students, who follow his path in calling people to Allah with wisdom and good preaching.

Riyadh – Saudi student Maryam has achieved remarkable success in the field of technology and innovation, securing first place in the “Innovation in Electronic Systems” competition recently organized by King Saud University.

Maryam, a 21-year-old fourth-year student in the College of Engineering majoring in Computer Engineering, designed an intelligent system for monitoring air quality in enclosed spaces using artificial intelligence technologies.

In a statement to “Al-Riyadh Newspaper,” Maryam said: “My goal for this project was to provide a practical solution to the problem of indoor air pollution, which affects human health. I used advanced sensors and intelligent algorithms to analyze the surrounding environment and provide immediate recommendations.”

She added: “I am proud to represent Saudi women in the field of science and technology, and I aspire to contribute to developing innovative solutions for our community’s problems.”

Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, Dean of the College of Engineering, praised Maryam’s achievement, saying: “This victory is a culmination of our university’s efforts to support and encourage creative students. Maryam is a role model for Saudi women excelling in scientific and technological fields.”

Maryam received a financial prize of 50,000 Saudi Riyals, in addition to an opportunity to incubate her project in the university’s technology business incubator.

It’s worth noting that this is not Maryam’s first achievement in the field of innovation. She previously won second place in the “Hajj Hackathon” in 2022 for a project aimed at facilitating pilgrims’ movement using a smart application.
