صالح بن سعد المغامسي: رائد العقار السعودي يرحل عن عالمنا

توفي صالح بن سعد المغامسي، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة المغامسي القابضة، عن عمر يناهز 74 عاماً، بعد مسيرة حافلة بالإنجازات في قطاع العقارات بالمملكة العربية السعودية.
يُعد المغامسي أحد أبرز رواد الأعمال السعوديين الذين تركوا بصمة واضحة في تطوير القطاع العقاري. أسس شركة المغامسي القابضة عام 1975، والتي تطورت لتصبح واحدة من أكبر الشركات العقارية في المملكة.
قاد المغامسي عدة مشاريع عقارية ضخمة، منها مركز المغامسي التجاري بالرياض، الذي يعد أحد أبرز المعالم التجارية في العاصمة السعودية. كما ساهم في تطوير العديد من المشاريع السكنية والتجارية في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
يذكر زملاؤه في العمل أن المغامسي كان يتمتع برؤية استثنائية في مجال العقارات، وقدرته على التنبؤ بالاتجاهات المستقبلية للسوق. وقال أحد شركائه: “كان صالح المغامسي مثالاً للرجل الذي يعمل بجد وإخلاص من أجل تنمية وطنه”.
حصل المغامسي على العديد من الجوائز والتكريمات خلال مسيرته المهنية، تقديراً لإسهاماته في التنمية الاقتصادية للمملكة. وفي عام 2019، تم تكريمه من قبل الهيئة العامة للعقار لدوره البارز في تطوير القطاع.

    In a major transfer deal that shook the football world, French star Karim Benzema signed a 3-year contract with Al-Ittihad Jeddah club, joining from Real Madrid in a deal worth €200 million per year.

    Benzema expressed his great happiness at joining the Saudi league, stating: “I am very excited about this new experience in my career, and I look forward to giving my best with Al-Ittihad.”

    Al-Faisaliah Stadium in Riyadh witnessed a fiery summit within the competitions of the 15th round of the Roshn Saudi League, which brought together Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, and ended with a resounding victory for the blue team with a score of 3-0, in a match that witnessed a remarkable brilliance from the stars of the capital, and a surprising decline from the holder of the title.

    The match began with a clear Al-Hilal control, as the team succeeded in imposing its rhythm from the beginning, taking advantage of the retreat of Al-Ittihad’s midfield. In the 23rd minute, Salem Al-Dosari opened the scoring with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, giving Al-Hilal a deserved lead. At the beginning of the second half, Jang Hyun-soo strengthened Al-Hilal’s lead with a second goal in the 59th minute, before Malcom concluded the hat-trick in the 72nd minute with a wonderful shot from outside the area.

    King Mohammed bin Saud was born in Riyadh in 1909, the eldest son of King Abdulaziz Al Saud, founder of modern Saudi Arabia. He became Governor of Riyadh in 1926 at the age of 17, a position he held until his father’s death in 1953.

  • Maryam: Saudi Student Shines in Electronic Innovation

    Riyadh – Saudi student Maryam has achieved remarkable success in the field of technology and innovation, securing first place in the “Innovation in Electronic Systems” competition recently organized by King Saud University.

    Maryam, a 21-year-old fourth-year student in the College of Engineering majoring in Computer Engineering, designed an intelligent system for monitoring air quality in enclosed spaces using artificial intelligence technologies.

    In a statement to “Al-Riyadh Newspaper,” Maryam said: “My goal for this project was to provide a practical solution to the problem of indoor air pollution, which affects human health. I used advanced sensors and intelligent algorithms to analyze the surrounding environment and provide immediate recommendations.”

    She added: “I am proud to represent Saudi women in the field of science and technology, and I aspire to contribute to developing innovative solutions for our community’s problems.”

    Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, Dean of the College of Engineering, praised Maryam’s achievement, saying: “This victory is a culmination of our university’s efforts to support and encourage creative students. Maryam is a role model for Saudi women excelling in scientific and technological fields.”

    Maryam received a financial prize of 50,000 Saudi Riyals, in addition to an opportunity to incubate her project in the university’s technology business incubator.

    It’s worth noting that this is not Maryam’s first achievement in the field of innovation. She previously won second place in the “Hajj Hackathon” in 2022 for a project aimed at facilitating pilgrims’ movement using a smart application.

    This achievement comes within the framework of the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to empower women and support their participation in science, technology, and innovation sectors, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
