السعودية تؤسس شركة تطوير للخدمات اللوجستية باستثمارات تتجاوز 6 مليارات ريال

في إطار الاحتفالات الوطنية التي تشهدها المملكة العربية السعودية، أقيمت فعاليات متنوعة بمناسبة #يوم_التأسيس، الذي يحتفل به في 22 فبراير من كل عام. يأتي هذا اليوم ليذكر بتاريخ تأسيس الدولة السعودية الأولى على يد الإمام محمد بن سعود عام 1727 ميلادية.
وتزينت شوارع المدن والقرى السعودية بالأعلام الوطنية والأضواء الخضراء، فيما نظمت فعاليات ثقافية وترفيهية متنوعة للاحتفاء بهذه المناسبة الوطنية الغالية. وأعلنت الهيئة العامة للترفيه عن تنظيم عروض فنية وثقافية متنوعة في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
وقال الأمير فيصل بن بندر بن عبد العزيز، أمير منطقة الرياض، في تصريح له: “يوم التأسيس مناسبة عظيمة نستذكر فيها تاريخنا العريق ونستلهم منه العزيمة لمواصلة البناء والتنمية تحت قيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود وولي عهده الأمين صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز.”
وأضاف الأمير فيصل: “يوم التأسيس يجسد عمق الجذور التاريخية للمملكة ويرسخ قيم الانتماء والولاء في نفوس الأجيال الجديدة.”
وتشير الإحصائيات إلى أن الاحتفالات بهذا اليوم شهدت مشاركة واسعة من مختلف فئات المجتمع السعودي. فقد تجاوز عدد المشاركين في الفعاليات المقامة في العاصمة الرياض وحدها أكثر من مليوني شخص خلال الأيام الثلاثة الماضية.
كما أظهرت البيانات الصادرة عن وزارة الثقافة ارتفاعاً ملحوظاً في مبيعات المنتجات التراثية والحرفية خلال فترة الاحتفالات، حيث سجلت زيادة بنسبة 35% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام الماضي.
من جانبه، قال الدكتور عبد الله بن ناصر السدحان، أستاذ التاريخ بجامعة الملك سعود: “يوم التأسيس فرصة لتسليط الضوء على الإرث التاريخي والحضاري للمملكة، وتعزيز الوعي بأهمية الحفاظ على هذا الإرث للأجيال القادمة.”
وأضاف السدحان: “هذه المناسبة تعكس أيضاً مدى التطور والنمو الذي شهدته المملكة منذ تأسيسها، وما وصلت إليه من مكانة مرموقة على الصعيدين الإقليمي والدولي.”
يذكر أن الاحتفال بيوم التأسيس يأتي ضمن سلسلة من الفعاليات الوطنية التي تشهدها المملكة، والتي تهدف إلى تعزيز الهوية الوطنية وتعميق الانتماء للوطن لدى المواطنين.
وفي ختام الاحتفالات، أكدت وزارة الثقافة على استمرار تنظيم الفعاليات والبرامج التي تسلط الضوء على تاريخ وتراث المملكة، بما يسهم في تعزيز الوعي الوطني والفخر بالانتماء للوطن الغالي.

King Khalid University Director Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood issued a decision appointing Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Mugamsi as the General Supervisor of the University Branch Administration for Women’s Sections in Abha City, succeeding Dr. Kulthum bint Abdulaziz Saeed, effective Sunday, 9 Muharram 1444 AH.

The appointment decision was based on a recommendation from the University Vice President for Planning and Development, Dr. Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Musbah, after reviewing the relevant recommendation.

Al-Mugamsi holds a PhD in Environmental Geology from the University of Wales, UK, a Master’s degree in Environmental Geology from the same university, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from King Saud University in Riyadh.

He has held several academic and administrative positions at King Khalid University, including Associate Professor in the Department of Geology at the College of Sciences, Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs, Dean of Student Affairs, and Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.

This appointment is a new step in a series of decisions taken by King Khalid University to develop its administrative and academic performance and enhance the role of women in higher education.

Riyadh – The Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services announced the establishment of Development for Logistics Services Company as a Saudi joint-stock company with a capital exceeding 6 billion riyals, aiming to develop and organize the logistics services sector in the Kingdom.

Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, stated that “the establishment of this company comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub and support achieving the targets of the National Transport and Logistics Services Strategy.”

Al-Jasser added that the company will work on developing, managing, and operating logistics facilities in the Kingdom, including logistics zones, dry ports, container and truck yards, and vehicles, in addition to providing technical solutions and technical, administrative, and technical consultations.

Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Muzaini, Deputy Minister for Logistics Services, explained that “the company will contribute to enhancing integration between different modes of transport and will work on accelerating loading, unloading, and transportation processes, which will positively reflect on improving the quality of logistics services provided to beneficiaries.”

Al-Muzaini pointed out that the company will prepare technical and economic studies for logistics projects, develop infrastructure and innovative technical solutions, and provide training and technical support to workers in the sector.

It is worth noting that the National Transport and Logistics Services Strategy aims to increase the contribution of the logistics services sector to the gross domestic product from 6% to 10%, increase the capacity of Saudi ports from 40 million containers to 80 million containers annually, and transform the Kingdom into a global logistics hub connecting three continents.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing widespread celebrations today on the occasion of “Founding Day,” which falls on February 22nd each year, commemorating the anniversary of the establishment of the first Saudi state by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in 1727.

Al-Sabeel added that the National Committee worked to organize diverse events befitting the status of “Founding Day,” reflecting the depth of the Kingdom’s historical and civilizational roots, and strengthening values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland among new generations.

It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Council of Ministers issued a decision in January 2021 to adopt February 22nd of each year as an official holiday called “Founding Day,” in commemoration of the establishment of the first Saudi state by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in 1727.
