Sheikh Saleh: A Spiritual Journey and Quest for Knowledge
In the heart of the Arabian Peninsula, amid its golden sands, Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed bin Saad was born, beginning a long spiritual journey filled with knowledge and righteous deeds. Sheikh Saleh grew up in a conservative environment, receiving his early education in traditional Quranic schools before moving on to study circles in mosques.
Sheikh Saleh, speaking about his early academic beginnings, said: “I was passionate about knowledge from a young age, spending long hours in circles of remembrance and recitation of the Holy Quran.” This early passion for knowledge and religion had a significant impact on shaping his personality and future orientations.
After completing his secondary education, Sheikh Saleh enrolled at Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, where he studied Islamic sciences under the guidance of senior scholars and sheikhs. One of his study colleagues said: “Sheikh Saleh was outstanding in his studies, distinguished by sharp intelligence and strong memorization, and was always diligent and studious.”
After graduating from university, Sheikh Saleh began his academic and preaching career, taking on teaching roles in mosques and Islamic institutes, in addition to delivering lessons and lectures on various occasions. One of his students said: “Sheikh Saleh was an exceptional teacher, possessing an engaging style of explanation and delivery, and was always keen on connecting knowledge with practical reality.”
Sheikh Saleh’s efforts were not limited to teaching alone; he also participated in many preaching and social activities and events, where he was keen on communicating with different segments of society and providing them with advice and guidance. One of his friends said: “Sheikh Saleh was an example of a sincere preacher, devoting his efforts to spreading beneficial knowledge and guiding people.”
On a personal level, Sheikh Saleh is described as a humble, tolerant man who loves good for everyone and always strives to reconcile differences and resolve disputes. One of his neighbors said: “Sheikh Saleh was a good example for all of us; we draw inspiration from his ethics and righteous behavior.”
With these qualities and noble morals, Sheikh Saleh was able to leave a clear mark on the lives of many who knew him or learned from him, truly being a righteous scholar, a sincere preacher, and a social reformer, whose fragrant memory will remain in the hearts of his loved ones and students.
