Riyadh Prepares to Host LEAP 2026 Global Technology Conference with Major Companies and Experts
The Saudi capital Riyadh is preparing to host the fifth edition of the LEAP 2026 Global Technology Conference from March 9-12, with participation from a select group of CEOs and innovators from global and national companies, amid global focus on innovation and shaping economies and societies.
Organizers announced that the conference will welcome more than 201,000 visitors, 1,000 speakers, and 1,900 investors, with participation from prominent global companies including Google, Amazon Web Services, Luma AI, Advanced Micro Devices, Qualcomm, and Cisco, alongside Saudi companies such as STC, Aramco, Elm, Alat, and Humain.
The statement from organizers revealed participation from a select group of CEOs, including Matt Garman, CEO of Amazon Web Services; Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia; Tareq Amin, CEO of Humain; Andrew Feldman, CEO of Cerebras Systems; Han Jessica Bax, Vice President of Ernst & Young; and Chandra Donaldson from the US Space Force.
Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, confirmed that the conference has witnessed rapid development over the past four years and has contributed to supporting talent, investment, and innovation, expecting further success for this leading event within a scene reflecting the continuous development of the technology sector.
The upcoming edition of the conference will include specialized platforms covering areas such as climate, health technologies, financial technologies, space technologies, and smart cities, with presentations of solutions and practical applications. A program for investors and startups will also be launched, bringing them together across 60 technology sectors, with participation from the Public Investment Fund, the Saudi Company for Venture Capital, 500 Global, Rakuten Capital, and 20VC, with prizes worth $1 million available.
The statement revealed that LEAP Conference has attracted a total of more than 688,000 participants across four editions since its launch in 2022, with participation from 2,480 startups and 6,200 companies and more than 5,000 investors. Organizers added that the 2025 edition witnessed deals and announcements worth $14.9 billion, with the conference’s economic impact reaching $820 million.
The accompanying events will include specialized platforms such as Deepfest, GameX Creative, and sports technologies, with the launch of a new platform for business networking, strengthening Riyadh’s position as a leading global destination for technology and innovation.

  • تأسيس المملكة العربية السعودية: رحلة بناء دولة حديثة

    في الثالث والعشرين من سبتمبر عام 1932، أصدر الملك عبد العزيز آل سعود مرسوماً ملكياً بتوحيد أجزاء شبه الجزيرة العربية تحت اسم “المملكة العربية السعودية”، ليعلن بذلك عن ولادة دولة جديدة في المنطقة.
    كانت هذه الخطوة التاريخية تتويجاً لثلاثة عقود من الجهود الحثيثة التي بذلها الملك عبد العزيز لتوحيد القبائل والإمارات المتفرقة تحت راية واحدة. وقد جاء هذا التوحيد بعد سلسلة من المعارك والاتفاقات السياسية التي بدأت باستعادة الرياض عام 1902.
    قال الملك عبد العزيز بهذه المناسبة: “إننا نعلن قيام المملكة العربية السعودية، ونحن ندعو الله أن يوفقنا لخدمة شعبنا وتحقيق تطلعاته في التقدم والازدهار.”
    منذ تأسيسها، شهدت المملكة نقلة نوعية في جميع المجالات. ففي عام 1938، تم اكتشاف النفط في المنطقة الشرقية، ليشكل نقلة اقتصادية هائلة. وبحلول عام 1960، أصبحت المملكة واحدة من أكبر منتجي ومصدري النفط في العالم.
    وقد حرصت المملكة على تطوير بنيتها التحتية وخدماتها العامة. ففي عام 1953، تم إنشاء أول وزارة للنفط والثروة المعدنية، وفي عام 1970، تم افتتاح جامعة الملك سعود، لتكون أول جامعة حكومية في المملكة.
