We work to enhance this heritage and preserve it for future generations.”

In the same context, the Ministry of Tourism announced the organization of various events and celebrations in different regions of the Kingdom on the occasion of the National Day. The ministry’s official spokesman said: “We are preparing to receive millions of visitors to enjoy the various events and shows that reflect our culture and national identity.”

Regarding developmental achievements, the Ministry of Economy and Planning stated that the Kingdom has achieved remarkable economic growth during the past years, as the gross domestic product rose from 2.6 trillion riyals in 2016 to 3.2 trillion riyals in 2022, an increase of 23%.

The ministry also indicated that the percentage of the private sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product rose from 39% in 2016 to 41% in 2022, reflecting the success of economic diversification efforts.

In the field of education, the Ministry of Education announced an increase in the enrollment rate in higher education to 60% in 2022, compared to 45% in 2016, which contributes to building human capital and achieving the Kingdom’s Vision

أصدر خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، أمراً ملكياً بإعفاء صالح بن عبدالرحمن بن سليمان المغامسي من منصبه كمحافظ لمحافظة الخرج، وتعيين فهد بن محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن داحس بدلاً منه.
