First Half Ends with Exciting Events in Championship Final

The first half of the championship final match between Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal teams concluded at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh with thrilling and exciting events witnessed by more than 60,000 spectators.
The match began with intense offensive pressure from Al-Hilal, where their player Mohammed Al-Shalhoub managed to score the first goal in the 15th minute following a decisive pass from Salem Al-Dawsari. Despite Al-Ahli’s attempts to equalize, Al-Hilal’s defense, led by Ali Al-Bulaihi, succeeded in maintaining a clean sheet until the end of the first half.
In a statement to Al-Hilal’s Portuguese coach, Leonardo Jardim, he said: “Our players delivered a distinguished performance in the first half, and we will continue the pressure in the second half to achieve victory.”
On the other hand, Al-Ahli’s coach, Argentine Pablo Guede, commented: “We are in a difficult situation, but we will fight in the second half to turn the result around.”
Statistics indicate Al-Hilal’s control over the course of play, with their ball possession reaching 62% compared to 38% for Al-Ahli, and their players attempted 8 shots on goal compared to 3 for Al-Ahli.
The second half is expected to witness more excitement and competitiveness between the two teams, especially with Al-Ahli’s desire to return to the match and win the title that has been absent since 2016.
