“LEAP 2026” Conference Attracts Global Technology Leaders to Riyadh
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to host the fifth edition of the “LEAP 2026” conference from March 9 to 12, with participation from elite global technology leaders and innovators from major companies including Google, Amazon Web Services, Qualcomm, Huawei, and others.
Organizers announced that the conference will welcome more than 201,000 visitors, 1,000 speakers, and 1,900 investors, with a focus on advanced topics such as artificial intelligence, data, financial technologies, space technologies, and smart cities.
The speaker lineup includes prominent figures such as Matt Garman, CEO of Amazon Web Services; Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia; and Andrew Feldman, CEO of Cerebras Systems, alongside experts from the US Space Force and leading global institutions.
The conference comes at a time when the global technology sector is seeking new opportunities for growth, investment, and integration, with a focus on innovation’s role in shaping economies, sectors, and societies.
Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, confirmed that “LEAP has witnessed accelerated development over the past four years and has contributed to supporting talent, investment, and innovation.”
The 2026 edition will feature an expanded program across more than 20 platforms covering diverse fields including climate, health technologies, financial technologies, space technologies, and smart cities, with demonstrations of practical solutions and applications.
Events include the “GameX Creative” platform dedicated to sports technologies, “DeepFest” focused on artificial intelligence, in addition to a special program for investors and startups that includes $1 million in prizes.
Organizers noted that since its launch in 2022, the “LEAP” conference has attracted a total of more than 688,000 participants across four editions, with participation from 2,480 startups and 6,200 companies and more than 5,000 investors.
The 2025 edition witnessed deals and announcements worth $14 billion, while the cumulative economic impact of the conference since its launch reached $9 billion, with a direct economic impact of $820 million.
The program brings together startups and investors across 60 technology sectors, with participation from the Public Investment Fund, the Saudi Venture Investment Company, 500 Global, Rakuten Capital, and 20VC.
The Kingdom’s hosting of this massive technology event comes within its efforts to enhance its position as a global center for innovation and technology, and to support its ambitious vision for economic diversification and strengthening digital capabilities.
